The National Defence Academy Exam (NDA Exam) is conducted by The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The exam has a rigorous selection process designed to recruit the best candidates to serve the Indian Armed Forces.
NDA Qualification
NDA Qualification for Army wing
Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board
NDA Qualification for Air Force and Naval wings of NDA and 10 2 Cadet entry scheme at INA
Passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
NDA Age limit
According to NDA eligibility criteria, only unmarried male and female aspirants aged between 16.5 and 19.5 are eligible to apply for NDA. Those who are interested in applying for NDA exam must fall in the mentioned age group. Candidates whose NDA age limit exceeds will not be considered for NDA. Given below is the NDA age limit for all candidates who wish to appear for NDA exam:
NDA 1 age limit is that candidates should be born not earlier than July 2, 2005, and not later than July 1, 2008
NDA 2 age limit, candidates must have born not earlier than January 2, 2004, and not later than January 1, 2007
The commission will accept the date of birth that is entered into Class 10 or 12 certificates
NDA Age Limit for Girls:
The NDA age limit for girls is the same as that of male candidates. As per the NDA eligibility, both male and female candidates who are unmarried and born between 2 July 2005 to 1 July 2008 are eligible to apply for the exam.
